In 2017, UCG elected to close their Greytown facility. As it was only able to provide Rest Home Care, the facility was suffering from declining occupancy and was not capable of being financially viable.

 

Now, after significant redevelopment, the home is to be reopened, under the more historic name of Palliser House. The boutique facility will offer secure dementia care and hospital level residential care for the community of Wairarapa.

 

UCG is delighted to be back in Greytown, and looking forward to welcoming new residents.
