The Ultimate Care family welcomes Oakdale Cambridge

Windhaven Investments is pleased to confirm the Ultimate Care Group, a wholly owned subsidary of Windhaven, has purchased Oakdale Cambridge Rest Home from Kingswood HealthCare, effective today.
Oakdale Cambridge, situated in Leamington in the Waikato, is currently an aged care facility providing a home to 47 residents, offering Rest Home Care and a recently completed Dementia Care wing. It has an excellent reputation in the region for the quality of its care, and is a strong part of the local community.
Ben Unger, Chairman of the Ultimate Care Group, says he is delighted to have been able to purchase such a well-run facility. “I expect that we will learn from the experiences already at Oakdale, whilst also contributing to the quality of care from being part of a wider group” Unger said.
UCG now comprises 17 Aged Care facilities and 7 retirement villages across New Zealand. The Group has been looking to continue to expand its operations since its purchase by Windhaven Investments, a family investment company, in late 2013.
