Fuel Discount Voucher Technology

 

New Discount Voucher Technology added to Cardlink's offering

 

Since 1984 Cardlink has offered fuel card services. In the 1990s this was expanded to offering multi-party loyalty solutions globally, and gift card programmes. How Cardlink's scope has increased again to the provision of Discount Voucher processing.

Fully integrated into its other systems, Cardlink manages the validation, payment, statementing and oncharging of these vouchers which now form a crucial part of the marketing strategy of retail fuel.

They also provide all support services, merchant enquiry, IVR customer response, external interfaces and audit requirements. The first client goes live in late 2012.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

It moves Cardlink closer to the consumer space, whereas its prior products have tended to be in the B2B arena. CEO of Cardlink, Liza Cox-Hancy said "That even though these transactions are low value, they have to be managed with the same care as a financial transcation, with the same speed, and the same accountability. We could do this in a cost effective way as an adjunct to our existing operations. We expect very high volumes".
